Benalmadena has an official 30.000 inhabitants and is located only 19 kilometers from the international Malaga Airport.
You can reach Benalmadena by road, train or bus and its privileged position looking out onto the Mediterranean Sea. No wonder that Benalmadena has grown so rapidly in size over the last 20 years and become so popular - especially with the British holidaymakers.
Benalmadena is always lively, but the busiest time of year is during the hot summer months, when holidaymakers more than triple the population - up to 100.000 people.
The Benalmadena area offers an easy lifestyle and a comfortable climate (minimum temperatures of 5º and a summer maximum of 35º) with the light sea breezes.
Many thousands of British families have bought holiday homes in Benalmadena and a large number of them have settled down permanently to live the life of their dreams.
Benalmadena Pueblo

The original heart of Benalmadena remains as a typical Andaluz village in the foothills of the mountains which sweep down to the shore.
The narrow, flower-filled streets of Benalmadena Pueblo hold plenty of traces of the former civilisations which used to exist in the area.
This picturesque village and its coastline are eminently suitable for tourism, with a population of over 60,000 people at the height of the season.
Despite the influx of foreigners, Benalmadena Pueblo (the old village) has managed to maintain a certain degree of autheticity.
Benalmadena Pueblo is 280 meters above sea level and set into the hillside a few kilometers from the coast. It is a delight to wander through the narrow, whitewashed cobble streets and enjoy the display of typical hotly coloured Andalucian geraniums spilling out of endless plant pots on little windowsills.
There are spectacular views of the Mediterranean coast from most of the streets. The Benalmadena Town Hall building is in this well-conserved and tranquil village.
Benalmadena Pueblo is a favourite place for many Spaniards and foreigners to shop for souvenirs or dine out.
